HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Athletics has finished 15
th nationally in the Helper Helper 2021-2022 Community Engagement Report,
as released by the organization.
The Bobcats had six individual programs rank inside the Top 10 nationally for their respective sport:
- Men's Cross Country: #6 Nationally
- Men's Lacrosse: #6 Nationally
- Women's Lacrosse: #9 Nationally
- Men's Soccer: #10 Nationally
- Field Hockey: #10 Nationally
- Women's Track & Cross Country: #10
The annual Helper Helper Community Engagement report recognizes institutions for the amount of community service work they perform throughout the collegiate year.
Quinnipiac also finished 10th in the nation in this year's Helper Helper and NCAA Division I Team Works Community Service Challenge,
as announced in February 2022. Quinnipiac saw a 97% participation rate of student-athletes who volunteered this year and tallied a total of 1,515 total service hours. Quinnipiac student-athletes also volunteered at 10 events throughout the year including Boomers Boo Bash on campus.
ABOUT HELPER HELPER
During the 2021-2022 school year, we saw student-athletes getting back into their communities. Helper Helper is honored to work with these institutions and help encourage student-athletes to make a lasting impact. Throughout the year, student-athletes and staff used the Helper Helper app and online portal to coordinate and track their service efforts. This report highlights top teams, top schools, the winner of the fall school challenge and the winner of the spring team challenge
