Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Sean Finley, Niagara

Sean Finley helped Niagara defeat Canisius for the second time in the last 13 years with two individual wins and three top-10 conference times. Finley won the 100 IM with the conference's top time of (52.90), and the 200 breast with the sixth-best time in the MAAC this season (2:05.24). He also posted the 10th best time in the league in the 100 back (57.13), for a second-place finish.
 
Men’s Diver of the Week
Sean Binning, Rider
So., Annandale, VA, W.T. Woodson

Binning swept both diving events in Rider's dual win over NJIT. On the 1-meter, Binning posted a score of 324.65 and on the 3-meter, Binning scored 287.55.
 
Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Zoe Gavin, Niagara
Gr., Diamond Point, NY, Bolton Central School
 
The reigning MAAC Women's Swimmer of the Week helped NU defeat arch-rival Canisius on Saturday, topping her conference-best mark in the 200 fly she set last week with a time of 2:05.82 to secure her first of two individual and four total wins. Her other individual win came in the 100 fly with a time of 56.82, the second-best in the MAAC this season. She also helped NU pick up two relay wins, the 400 free (3:32.10) and 200 medley (1:45.42).

Women’s Diver of the Week
Lydia Delano, Siena
Sr., Burnt Hills, NY, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake

Delano won both the one-meter (269.03) and three-meter (243.53) diving events during Siena's dual meet against Saint Francis (PA).
 
The 2023 MAAC Men's & Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships return to the Burt Flickinger Center on the campus of Erie Community College (ECC) in Buffalo, NY for the 12th consecutive year. The four-day meet co-hosted by Canisius College and Niagara University will take place from Wednesday, February 8 through Saturday, February 11.
