Player of the Week
Kelly Corl, Niagara

Niagara junior Kelly Corl hit .769 over three games for the Purple Eagles as he went 10-13 at the plate as Niagara swept Saint Peter's in their first weekend of MAAC play. While hitting .769 he hit two homers and drove in eight RBIs. He also came around to score six times and stole one base. He had a 1.308 slugging percentage and had seven assists and seven putouts in the field.

Pitcher of the Week
Jake Noviello, Fairfield
Gr., Franklin, MA, Franklin
 
Jake Noviello twirled a complete game two-hit shutout while striking out a career-high 10 batters in the win over Siena. Noviello allowed just two singles and one walk while retiring the final 11 batters he faced. He needed just 100 pitches in the masterpiece.


Rookie of the Week
Nick Groves, Niagara
Fr., London, ON, Monseigneur-Bruyère
 
 
The Niagara freshman hit .364 on the weekend while drawing seven walks and five stolen bases in three games. He had a .611 on base percentage while having multiple walks in each of the three games. Groves also drove in four runs out of the leadoff position and scored five runs.
