Becchetti batted .533 (8-for-15) with two homers, seven RBI, and six runs scored. He got a hit in all four of Fairfield's wins and tallied a .632 on-base percentage and a 1.133 slugging percentage.
Pitcher of the Week
Jack Keenan, Marist
Jr., White Plains, NY, Iona Prep
In his one appearance this week against Siena, Jack Keenan was simply dominant. Keenan pitched six scoreless innings against the Saints allowing only three hits in the process. Keenan also struck out eight batters and didn't surrender a walk.
Rookie of the Week
Matt Bucciero, Fairfield
Fr., Ridgefield, CT, Ridgefield
Bucciero batted a team-best .583 (7-for-12) with eight RBI, seven runs scored, two homers, and two stolen bases in Fairfield's 4-0 week. He got a hit and scored a run in every game and had multiple hits in three-straight. He had a .688 on-base percentage and a 1.125 slugging percentage.
