Canisius’ Jackson Strong shined both offensively and defensively on the weekend as The Griffs won two of its three games versus Manhattan. The sophomore Strong recorded multi-hit performances in all three contests, including a 3-for-5 performance on Friday night where the sophomore drove in five runs and was a double shy of the cycle. For the week, Strong went 8-for-13 with eight RBI, two home runs, four extra-base hits and 10 putouts. Strong also posted a .615/.615/1.308 slash line on the weekend.
 
Pitcher of the Week
Kevin Seitter, Quinnipiac
Sr., Ridgewood, NJ, Ridgewood
 
Quinnipiac’s Kevin Seitter takes home Pitcher of the Week recognition this week. In his lone start over the weekend, Seitter tossed seven shutout innings with eight strikeouts in a victory over Saint Peter's.
 
Rookie of the Week
Ethan Conrad, Marist
Fr., Saugerties, NY, Saugerties
 
Ethan Conrad had an outstanding weekend in MAAC play against Fairfield. Conrad slashed for a .538 batting average (7-13) and tallied six runs batted in for the Red Foxes and two doubles. The freshman led the Red Foxes to a Sunday win over Fairfield with a grand slam and five runs batted in.
