Edison, NJ (May 25, 2023) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) had 20 student-athletes named to the 2023 Academic All-District Women's At-Large team selected by College Sports Communicators.
The 2023 Academic All-District Women's At -Large team, selected by College Sports Communicators recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The 2023 College Sport Communicators Academic All-District At-Large teams are comprised of student-athletes that compete in the following sports: fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, volleyball, water polo, and wrestling.
The 2023 College Sport Communicators Academic All-District Women's At-Large team had representation from eight MAAC institutions across various sports. Siena College and Marist College led MAAC representation on the list with five honorees each, Fairfield University had four selections, Manhattan College added two representatives to the team, and the University of Dayton, Long Island University, Robert Morris University and Sacred Heart University each had one student-athlete chosen to the team.
