Quinnipiac’s Keegan O'Connor went 12-for-19 on the weekend with four homers, three doubles and 10 RBI as the Bobcats took three of four from Hartford.
 
Pitcher of the Week
Will Hesslink, Manhattan
Gr., Shelburne, VT, Avon Old Farms
 
Will Hesslink tossed a complete game shutout in his lone start this week against Mount St Mary's. In the team's 5-0 series-opening win, Hesslink only issued one free pass and sat down 10 on strikes. He also only allowed three hits, with the first coming in the sixth inning.
 
 
Rookie of the Week
Danny Barbero, Siena
Fr., Loudonville, NY, Colonie Central
 
 
Siena’s Danny Barbero homered twice and knocked in eight runs over the weekend at Saint Peter's. The freshman also scored five times during the three-game series, while posting a stellar 1.161 OPS. In Sunday's rubber game, Barbero homered in back-to-back innings, with his two-run shot giving Siena a 5-1 lead in the fifth, while putting the game away with a sixth inning grand slam to propel the Saints to their first MAAC series victory.
