EMMITSBURG, Md. (August 18, 2023) – Mount St. Mary's rising senior Scott Seeker was named First Team All-New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL), as voted on by the league's 13 on-field managers. 
 
Seeker earned First Team All-NECBL honors at the designated hitter spot after leading the league in RBIs (34), finishing second in hits (45), third in batting average (.336) and third in home runs (7) along with 14 walks and 27 runs in 134 at-bats. His best performance of the season was a 3-for-5 performance with two home runs, five RBIs and two runs scored in a July 29 doubleheader against the Ocean State Waves. Seeker's production as a hitter earned him Week 8 Player of the Week honors as well as a spot as the starting DH for the East Division All-Star team. 
 
Seeker's efforts in Emmitsburg last year netted him an All-MAAC selection as a First Team designated hitter and an ABCA/Rawlings Second Team All-Regional selection. Batting .343 for the year and clearing an OPS over 1.000, he slapped 70 hits – second-most for a Mount St. Mary's Division I season. Adding 14 home runs, he also stands ninth in the record books for slugging percentage earning a .647 for the year.
