Male Student-Athlete of the Week
Braden York, Niagara, Men’s Cross Country
Gr. / Auburn, NY, Port Byron
York has posted four top-20 finishes this season, including wins at the Little Three Championship and Daemen Alumni Invitational, while also recording a career-best and program-record 8k time of 24:24.0 at the National Catholic Invitational where he placed 20th overall and was the first unranked runner across the line. York's performances have helped him earn two MAAC Runner of the Week honors. This past weekend, york placed fifth overall in the Paul Short Brown 8k, his best-ever performance in the event.
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Lily Morgan, Merrimack, Women’s Soccer
Gr. / Hudson, OH, Hudson
Morgan has come up huge over the last three games with three consecutive shutouts. She has recorded 12 saves and 2 shots on goal over this period. Merrimack is 2-0-1 in those three games. Off the field Morgan is an Exercise Science major. The Warriors continue MAAC play with a game against Fairfield next.
