Male Student-Athlete of the Week
Jackson Price, Marist, Men’s Basketball

Jackson Price has shined for the Marist men's basketball program on and off the court. Jackson joined the Red Foxes in the summer of 2023 after playing his first two seasons at The Citadel. Last season, he was one of the Red Foxes' top reserves, as he averaged 8.0 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. This season, he has moved into the starting lineup at center. He is coming off a career-high 20 points in Marist's victory at Richmond this past Saturday. He also set career highs with six three-pointers made and five assists as the Red Foxes defeated an Atlantic 10 opponent for the first time in 17 years.
 
Jackson is a Psychology major who was a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection last year. He was named to Marist's Dean's List in each of his two semesters last year, and he was named to the MAAC Academic Honor Roll following the 2023-24 school year. Jackson serves as Event Manager for Marist's Black Student-Athlete Alliance.

Makenna Mason, Rider, Women’s Volleyball
So. / Hilton Head Island, SC, Hilton Head
 
Mason has been a key piece of Rider's 6-2 lineup this season, sharing setting duties in a 50/50 split and is currently second on the team with 421 assists and has contributed 125 digs on the year. The sophomore has recorded double digit assists in 25 of Rider's 29 matches this season all while maintaining a 3.97 GPA in the classroom.
