Quinnipiac’s Grisdale and Merrimack’s Clark Named Hercules Tires MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week

Clark has had an excellent start of the season for the Warriors. The sophomore guard is averaging 20.7 points per game so far this season. He is also averaging 3.6 assists and three steals through three games. His three steals per contest ranks him in the top 12 nationally. Clark is shooting 40% from the field, knocking down 23 field goals through three games. The guard from Philly also has 13 rebounds this year. He has been a staple in the Warrior lineup playing 113 out of the possible 120 minutes.

Jackie Grisdale, Quinnipiac, Women’s Basketball
Sr. / Poland, OH, Poland High School
 
Senior Captain Jackie Grisdale is off to a phenomenal start in her senior season. Grisdale is averaging a team-high 20.5 points per game in two starts this season. Grisdale opened up the season with an eight-point performance at Holy Cross and grabbed two rebounds. In the home opener against Harvard, Grisdale had a career day, dropping a new career-high 33 points in the win over the Crimson. Grisdale knocked down seven of her eight three-point attempts to set a new Quinnipiac Division I record with seven made threes in a single game. The Poland, Ohio native is shooting 58.3% (14-for-24) from the floor and 66.7% (8-12) from behind the arc in 38.5 minutes per game to start the year.
