Sebastiano Musu, Manhattan, Men's Soccer
Sr. / Santa Giusta, Italy, Campbellsville
Musu has excelled for Manhattan with 5 goals and 6 assists to lead the Jaspers in points (16). He scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Columbia on 9/11 when he broke through 55 seconds into the game. Musu is a finance major with a 3.68 cumulative GPA.
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Lola Barrett, Sacred Heart, Women's Swimming and Diving
Sr. / Wakefield, MA, Wakefield Memorial
Barrett has been critical to SHU swim and dive's impressive start to the 2024-25 campaign. The senior from Wakefield, Mass., has secured an NCAA Zone qualifying score in the 3M, her second ever qualification, previously doing it at the NEC Championship. The veteran diver has paved the way for four critical first-year divers as SHU has had a phenomenal start to the diving season including multiple sweeps in the 1M and 3M. The Pioneers have had their best start to the season since 2018-19 as they have a record of 4-3.
Barrett entered this season after an extremely successful 2023-24 season. The senior broke both the 1M and 3M school record, the 3M NEC record, qualified for NCAA Zones, named NEC Diver of the Meet and was awarded CSCAA Scholar All-American.
