Male Student-Athlete of the Week
Juan Nunez, Saint Peter’s, Men’s Swimming and Diving

Juan Nunez placed first in the 400-yard IM at the 2024 ECAC Winter Championships. He is the first SPU swimmer since 2013 to win a race at the ECACs. Nunez also broke top-10 times in Saint Peter's program history in the 500-yard freestyle, 1000-yard freestyle, and 1650-yard freestyle, as well as the 400-yard IM.
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Svenja Rodenbüsch, Fairfield, Women’s Volleyball
Sr. / Waldkrich, Germany, Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium
Svenja Rodenbüsch completed her Fairfield Volleyball career with a standout performance in the Stags' NCAA First Round match at #7 Wisconsin. Rodenbüsch shared the team high of seven kills against the Badgers, also notching eight digs. It was the senior's second big performance on the national stage, as she also paced Fairfield in 2023's NCAA First Round match with eight kills at Purdue.
Rodenbüsch helped lead the Stags to the national postseason with 12 kills on .290 hitting along with five blocks in six sets of work during the 2024 MAAC Championship.
