Male Student-Athlete of the Week
Brian Bouwman, Merrimack, Men’s Lacrosse
Sr. / Cheshire, CT, Cheshire
Bouwman had a multi goal performance against Bryant this past week. Bouwman, a senior on this young Warriors team, has four ground balls, a pair of goals and assist so far on the young season. A leader for this Merrimack team, he will look to lead them heading into MAAC play in just a few weeks.
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Cate Bendowski, Quinnipiac, Women’s Lacrosse
Jr. / Rockville Centre, NY, Sacred Heart Academy
Bendowski has started all three games so far for the Bobcats and has scored nine goals in those three games. Bendowski scored four goals in Quinnipiac’s 13-9 win over Colgate (Feb. 15) and netted a hat-trick against nationally ranked Yale (Feb. 18).
