Male Student-Athlete of the Week
Erich Hartmann, Rider, Baseball
Jr. / Medford, NJ, Shawnee
Hartmann has been one of the Broncs' offensive leaders this season, hitting .342 with five doubles, a triple, a home run, 20 runs scored and 16 RBI's. He has nine multi-hit games, including three three-hit games and another with four hits on March 7 at Saint Peter's. Hartmann has also achieved in the classroom, posting a 3.39 GPA as a marketing major.
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Olivia Cruthers, Manhattan, Women’s Lacrosse
Sr. / Amityville, NY, Kellenberg
In her senior season, Cruthers has been masterful on the turf. The Amityville product paces the Jaspers with 13 goals on the season, just six shy of her career-high in nearly half the games from a season ago. In non-conference play at LIU earlier this season, Cruthers tallied five goals in the overtime effort against the Sharks and tied her single-game high in goals scored in a game. Cruthers leads the Green and White with 47 shots and nine assists on the year. On her 47 shots, she tacked 31 of those, on target. Off the field, Cruthers is studying Chemical Engineering as she pursues her bachelor's degree.
