Nick Bergamotto, Siena, Baseball

Bergamotto wrapped up the 2024 fall semester with a 3.88 term GPA and currently holds a 3.92 cumulative GPA while majoring in Finance. The junior is on the Dean's List. The MAAC All-Academic Team and two-time MAAC Honor Roll nominee has homered twice in the first five games of the season for the Saints. In 2024, Bergamotto started all 51 games and hit a career hit .264 with 53 hits, 11 doubles, five home runs, 38 runs and drove in 31.  He had 14 multi-hit games and recorded eight multi-RBI games, tied for second most on the team. 
 
Female Student-Athlete of the Weeek
Ashley Allaire, Canisius, Swimming and Diving
Sr./ Belleville, Ontario, Nicholson Catholic College
 
A native of Belleville, Ontario, Allaire won the 500 free against Geneseo with a time of 5:24.86. Against Le Moyne she won the 1000 free swimming a 11:11.06 while being a part of the 200 free relay that took first. At the MAAC Championships, Allaire was a part of the 800 yard freestyle relay that broke the school record and won the bronze medal. Allaire is currently pursuing a degree in sports and exercise science.
