Male Student-Athlete of the Week
Nathan Lincoln, Marist, Baseball
Sr. / Canton, CT, Canton High School
Nathan Lincoln has produced on the field and been a leader off the field in his four years at Marist. This season, he has started all 46 of Marist's games while serving as team captain. Lincoln has seen time in both the infield and outfield over the course of his career, and he was a MAAC All-Rookie Team selection in 2022. He is a Business Administration major who has been named to the MAAC All-Academic Team and MAAC Academic Honor Roll every year he has been eligible, and he is a six-time selection to the Marist Dean's List. Lincoln was a finalist for the Pizzani Award at this year's Senior Awards Banquet thanks to his work within the Marist community. He is a two-year member of Marist's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee who has participated in numerous community service activities, and he was chosen on behalf of the program to speak at its First Pitch Dinner.
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Anna-Marie Groskritz, Rider, Softball
Gr./ Granby, CT, Granby Memorial
Groskritz was named to the 2025 MAAC All-Championship Team after an impressive run through four appearances in the tournament, not allowing an earned run over 22.2 innings pitched, including a no-hitter vs. Iona in the winner's bracket semifinals. She also shut out Quinnipiac in the opening round and the only run to score in the winner's bracket final was unearned in 7.2 innings pitched. For the tournament, she won two games and didn't allow an earned run, while limiting the opposition to nine hits and five walks, striking out 18 batters. Opposing hitters batted just .118 against her. The stellar tournament run lowered her season ERA to 2.25 and she finished with 140 strikeouts, easily surpassing her prior single-season high of 81. Groskritz's ERA in the tournament wasn't the only unblemished mark to her credit, as she carried a perfect 4.0 GPA into the Spring in pursuing her MBA.
