The Pioneers libero collected 33 digs and 19 assists in a 1-1 weekend at the Harvard Invitational. Her best numbers of the weekend came against Providence when she surpassed the 20 dig plateau for the third time this season with 23 total, adding that to 12 assists for a double double. Villarreal was one of two Pioneers named to the Harvard Invitational All-Tournament Team.

Emma Bortolotti led the Stags with 3.42 kills per set in three matches this past week, swinging at a .307 clip from the right side. Bortolotti was also second on the digs in digs (29, 2.42/set), blocks (10), and service aces (5) as the Stags hosted Central Connecticut, Brown, and Middle Tennessee. She posted consecutive double-doubles with 11 kills and 11 digs in the win over CCSU followed by 16 kills and 13 digs in the victory over the Bears.
 
Setter of the Week

Franz racked up 72 assists across a pair of matches last week, including a season-high 44 in the Pioneers five-set win over Providence to begin the weekend at the Harvard Invitational. For the week, she averaged 9.00 assists per set, while also collecting 25 total digs, finishing both matches with a double double, and dropped in three kills, an ace and a block. 
 
Rookie of the Week
Aislin Oldach, Fairfield
Fr. Broomfield, CO. Legacy High School
 
Aislin Oldach averaged 2.50 kills per set on .250 hitting in 12 sets of action at the Fairfield Invitational. Oldach highlighted her week with 13 kills swinging at a .500 clip in the Thursday win over CCSU and posted 10 digs in Friday's 3-1 win over Brown.
 
The 2026 Metro Volleyball Championship will serve as the final event of the fall championship season, taking place from November 17-23. The tournament will feature the top six teams in the standings, with the higher seed hosting first-round matches. The No. 1 seed will host the semifinals and championship match on consecutive days, with the host institution selecting the dates of competition.
