EDISON, NJ (August 31, 2026) – Metro Conference Commissioner Travis Tellitocci has announced the hiring of Matt Zamorski as the Conference’s Assistant Commissioner for Sport Administration. Zamorski, who most recently served as Academy Administrator for the New York Red Bulls, will join the Metro Conference staff effective immediately.
“We are thrilled to welcome Matt to the Metro Conference staff,” said Tellitocci. “Matt brings a strong background in sport administration and operations, with valuable experience managing the many details that contribute to successful programs and events. His work with the New York Red Bulls and experience across collegiate and professional sports have prepared him well for this role, and we are excited to have him join our team.”
In his new role, Zamorski will provide leadership and oversight for the Metro Conference’s sport administration and championship operations, helping deliver a first-class experience for student-athletes, coaches, officials and member institutions. He will oversee scheduling and officiating operations, assist in developing and implementing Conference policies, and collaborate with member institutions and external partners to ensure the successful execution of Metro championships and events.
Zamorski joins the Metro Conference following more than four years with the New York Red Bulls organization, most recently serving as Academy Administrator. In that role, he oversaw a wide range of operational responsibilities for six academy teams spanning the U12 through U18 levels, including travel coordination, scheduling, budgeting, game-day operations, equipment management and roster administration. Zamorski was also a member of the New York Red Bulls Academy staff during the program’s 2023 U15 MLS NEXT Cup championship run.
During his time with the Red Bulls Academy, Zamorski coordinated more than 20 team trips annually, overseeing all aspects of travel logistics, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and catering, among other responsibilities.
His previous experience includes roles in athletics and event operations at Monmouth University and Gotham FC, as well as ticketing with the Philadelphia Union and men’s soccer operations at Arcadia University.
Zamorski earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Arcadia University. A former member of the university’s men’s soccer team, he later transitioned into the role of Director of Men’s Soccer Operations, where he supported the program's day-to-day operations.
