EDISON, NJ (October 29, 2026) – CollegeInsider.com revealed its 2026-27 Preseason Women’s Basketball Mid-Major Top 25® Poll Thursday evening, with the Fairfield Stags set to begin the season ranked No. 4 nationally, receiving two first-place votes.

Fairfield enters the season following an outstanding 2025-26 campaign, finishing 28-5 overall and earning 729 points in the final mid-major poll to rank second nationally.
