In a pair of matches for Fairfield last week in South Carolina, senior Kaya Gore swept both of his opponents at No. 1 singles against Charleston and Wofford. In doubles play, Gore earned a 7-6 victory in Monday's match against Charleston alongside teammate Sam Hodges.

In Fairfield’s first tournament of the spring campaign, sophomore Sydney Nethercott finished tied for 15th place out of a 62 golfer field at the Sacred Heart Spring Break Invitational at LPGA International. Nethercott carded a 73 on the opening day of the tournament, the sixth-best score of the round, before shooting an 81 on day two, helping bump the Stags from seventh after day one to a sixth-place finish in the 14 team field.
