Men’s Player of the Week

Niels Van Noord helped Monmouth complete a historic week with a combined 5-0 record at No. 1 singles (2-0) and doubles (3-0) with wins over Marist, Siena and Rider. The Hawks wrapped up their seventh straight MAAC Regular Season Championship, while Van Noord won both singles matches in straight sets and combined with Charlie Penman on three doubles victories.
 
Women’s Player of the Week
Zoe Klapman, Monmouth
Jr., San Jose, CA, Glenbrook Nortb
 
Klapman finished the week with a 5-1 record after going 3-0 in second singles and 2-1 in second doubles. She won her second singles and second doubles match against Siena. As a team, Monmouth went 2-1 this past week picking up victories over Marist and Rider, while just being edged out by Siena, 4-3.
