Fairfield’s Gore and Bozinovic, Monmouth’s Busato Win VisitNJ MAAC Tennis Weekly Awards

Men’s Co-Player of the Week
Gabriel Busato, Monmouth

Gabriel Busato went 3-1 this past week, including a pair of wins at No. 3 singles in Monmouth's two MAAC victories over Fairfield and Quinnipiac. Busato clinched the match for the Hawks in the 4-3 victory over Fairfield and also won at No. 2 doubles in the Hawks' 7-0 win at Quinnipiac.
 
Men’s Co-Player of the Week
Kaya Gore, Fairfield
Sr., Izmir, Turkey, Miami
 
In a pair of matches for the Stags last week, Gore earned a pair of straight-set wins at No. 1 singles over both Monmouth and Niagara. In doubles play, he went 1-1 earning a win against Niagara in the No. 2 duel.
 
Women’s Player of the Week
Sandra Bozinovic, Fairfield
Gr., Strasbourg, France, CNED
 
In two matches last week for Fairfield, Bozinovic went a combined 4-0 in singles and doubles, including a pair of wins at No. 1 singles against Monmouth and Niagara, and two victories at No. 3 doubles.
