WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – The Division I ITA Collegiate Tennis Regional Rankings have been announced and the Monmouth University men's tennis program was represented as the ninth ranked program in the northeast region.

Additionally, the doubles team of Niels Van Noord and Charlie Penman earned the No. 10 ranking in the northeast following their 2021-22 season. The duo went 22-8 overall and 5-1 in MAAC play at the first doubles position.

As a team, Monmouth went 20-4 overall with their 20 victories setting the school record. Monmouth had an 11-game winning streak as it won its sixth consecutive MAAC Tournament Championship and seventh straight MAAC regular season crown.

 Monmouth had seven student-athletes earn all-conference recognition, with four Hawks earning multiple honors in singles and doubles play. Five different Hawks collected first team awards, including Niels Van Noord and Charlie Penman at No. 1 Doubles, Victor Castro and Trent Massam at No. 3 doubles and Lucca Silva at No. 4 singles. Van Noord, Dmitry Bezborodov and Gabriel Busato each earned Second Team All-MAAC honors. Monmouth head coach Chris Leicht was named MAAC Coach of the Year for the third straight season.
