Siena’s Vo and Quinnipiac’s Nella Claim VisitNJ Tennis Weekly Honors

Siena’s Edward Vo claims Player of the Week honors after defeating Filipe Grebentsov of St. John's 6-1, 6-2 at the singles #5 position last Friday. The freshman has earned Player of the Week recognition three times this season.
 
Women’s Player of the Week:
Kamilla Nella, Quinnipiac

Kamilla Nella went 2-0 in singles matches down in Orlando this past week for the Bobcats. She defeated Richiez (Loyola Maryland) 6-1, 7-5 at the No. 3 spot on Friday, and then battled to a three-set win over Ferrante (Wesleyan) 4-6, 7-5, 10-4 from the No. 2 singles position on Tuesday night. Nella has 99 career wins entering the Bobcats' matchup with Lehigh on Wednesday afternoon in Florida.
 
The 2023 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships will take place on April 22 and 23 at Mercer County Park Tennis Center in West Windsor, NJ. This will be the 11th consecutive championship held at Mercer County Park Tennis Center dating back to the 2012 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships.
