Siena junior Jose Pablo Davila went 3-0 this past week; Against St. Bonaventure, teamed with Tomas del Olmo to defeat Norka Sanchez and Hugo Cochlin 7- at the doubles #3 position; against Monmouth, teamed with del Olmo to earn doubles win from the #3 position over Diego Laporta and Christof Zeilor 6-3, defeated Alexander Zuckerman 6-4, 6-2, at the #4 singles position.
 
Women’s Player of the Week
Meagan Brown, Siena

The Siena fifth-year player ran a record of 4-0 on the week; Against St. Bonaventure in a 6-1 team win, outlasted Alexandra Jansson 7-6 (4), 5-7, 11-9 at the #1 position then teamed with Alexa Wilson to defeat Anastaia Gubanova/Jansson 6-4.  On Sunday in a 6-1 team win against Monmouth, Brown paired with Wilson once together to earn a 6-2 win over Ann Spurka and Lauren Landstrom at the doubles #1 flight.  The win for Brown was significant in that it tied her with Ali Garrity (2013-2017) for most doubles wins all-time in program history with 53. From the #1 singles position, Brown also won in straight sets by the scores of 6-2, 6-0 over Spurka.
 
 
 
The 2023 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships will take place on April 22 and 23 at Mercer County Park Tennis Center in West Windsor, NJ. This will be the 11th consecutive championship held at Mercer County Park Tennis Center dating back to the 2012 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships.
