Siena welcomed the return of Wilson to the lineup, who fought hard to pull out one of the longer breakers—outlasting #1 player Natalia Vela 7-6 (2), 4-6, 15-13 to help the Saints gut out a 4-3 victory against Bryant this past Saturday.
 
Men’s Player of the Week:
Thomas Smart, Fairfield

Fairfield’s Thomas Smart was victorious at #1 singles and #1 doubles as the Stags defeated Fordham, 6-1, on Saturday night. Smart dispatched Fordham's Nick Mueller -- 6-2, 6-3 -- and teamed with Nick Condos to knock off Mueller and Giorgio Soemarno in a tiebreak, 7-6 (1).
 
 
The 2024 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships will take place on April 20-21 at Mercer County Park Tennis Center in West Windsor, NJ. The 2024 Championships will be the 12th consecutive time the event is held at Mercer County Park Tennis Center dating back to the 2012 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships. With 11 institutions strongly bound by the sound principles of quality and integrity in academics and excellence in athletics, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) is in its 43rd year of competition during the 2023-24 academic year. Current conference members include: Canisius University, Fairfield University, Iona University, Manhattan College, Marist College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Niagara University, Quinnipiac University, Rider University, Saint Peter’s University, and Siena College. Merrimack College and Sacred Heart University will join the MAAC as full members in the 2024-25 academic year, expanding the conference to 13 institutions.
