Martinez ran a perfect week with a record of 6-0 in matches at Marist, home versus Rider and home versus Mount St. Mary's (went 3-0 at doubles #2 and went 3-0 at singles #1 positions).
 
Women’s Player of the Week:
Laia Giralt, Siena
Jr., Sant Cugat, Spain, Ins Car
 
Giralt capped a 6-0 week (3-0 at Doubles #1 and 3-0 at Singles #2 position) by helping the Saints clinch a MAAC Playoff berth for an eighth consecutive season. She led Siena to beat Marist on the road, Rider at home and Mount St. Mary's at home all by the score of 6-1. 
 
The 2024 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships will take place on April 20-21 at Mercer County Park Tennis Center in West Windsor, NJ. The 2024 Championships will be the 12^th consecutive time the event is held at Mercer County Park Tennis Center dating back to the 2012 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships. With 11 institutions strongly bound by the sound principles of quality and integrity in academics and excellence in athletics, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) is in its 43rd year of competition during the 2023-24 academic year. Current conference members include: Canisius University, Fairfield University, Iona University, Manhattan College, Marist College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Niagara University, Quinnipiac University, Rider University, Saint Peter’s University, and Siena College. Merrimack College and Sacred Heart University will join the MAAC as full members in the 2024-25 academic year, expanding the conference to 13 institutions.
