Merrimack’s Chhabria and Marist’s Clements Sorde Pick Up Jersey Mike’s MAAC Tennis Weekly Award Honors

Men’s Player of the Week:
Kabir Chhabria, Merrimack

Kabir Chhabria went 4-0 over the weekend with Singles wins vs Marist at No 5 position and MIT at the No 4 position.  Also won both his doubles vs Marist and MIT with partner Morgan Donovan at No 3 doubles.

Cloe Clements Sorde, Marist

The Red Foxes took a commanding 4-0 victory this past weekend over Merrimack for its first MAAC victory of the 2025 season. Cloe Clements Sorde played a key role in the Red Foxes success, directly contributing to two points. At #1 doubles alongside Lola Ungerman, Clements Sorde took a dominant 6-1 victory. At #2 singles, Clements Sorde took a two-set victory.
 
The 2025 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships are a six-team, single-elimination championships taking place on April 25-27 at Mercer County Park Tennis Center in West Windsor, NJ. The 2025 Championships will be the 13th consecutive time the event is held at Mercer County Park Tennis Center dating back to the 2012 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships.
