Men’s Player of the Week:
Alexi Roy, The Mount

Roy led the Mount to a pair of MAAC wins and a 2-0 start to league play. In the Mount's win over Niagara, he earned a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles, and then teamed with Akarsh Gaonkar for a 7-6 win at No. 1 doubles. In the Mount's win over Siena, he had a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles, while teaming with Gaonkar for a 6-1 win at the No. 1 doubles position.
Co-Women’s Player of the Week:
Laila Giralt, Siena
Sr., Barcelona, Spain, Ins Car
Teamed with Manuela Gomez to defeat Venus Jang and Bella Pescatore of Mount St. Mary's 7-5 at the doubles No. 1 position and then also won her singles No. 1 match against Margherita Trolese 6-2, 6-2. Her singles win marked her 50th career singles victory as she became just the fourth student-athlete to reach the 50 wins mark in Siena Women's Tennis program history joining Sarah Mayer, Mitsuka Fukamachi and Julia Lebedev.

Ella Lindsey, Marist
Fr., Naples, FL, Acellus Academy
Ella Lindsey was lights out for the Red Foxes this past week, going 3-0 in all of her matches. Against Quinnipiac on March 22, Lindsey, at #6 singles, battled her opponent throughout three sets, eventually taking victory, 6-0, 3-6, 10-6. In the Red Foxes' 4-3 win over Sacred Heart on March 23, Lindsey, alongside her partner, Lola Ungerman, defeated their opponents at the #2 doubles position, 6-3. With the match tied 3-3 in the #6 singles match, Lindsey clinched the victory for the Red Foxes after defeating her opponent, 3-6, 6-2, 6-3.
The 2025 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships are a six-team, single-elimination championships taking place on April 25-27 at Mercer County Park Tennis Center in West Windsor, NJ. The 2025 Championships will be the 13
