2025 MAAC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships Gets Underway this Weekend at Mercer County Park Tennis Center in West Windsor, NJ

WEST WINDSOR, NJ (Apr. 24, 2025) – The 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships are set for this weekend from Friday to Sunday, April 25-27 at Mercer County Park Tennis Center in West Windsor, NJ. The 2025 Championships will be the 13th consecutive time the event is held at Mercer County Park Tennis Center dating back to the 2012 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships. First serve for all men’s matches are set for 10:00 a.m., while women’s matches have a 2:00 p.m. first serve time.
 
The 2025 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships will feature a six-team field on each side with the top two seeds each earning first round byes.
 
The men’s championship teams feature MAAC Regular Season Champion and top-overall seed Quinnipiac University, No. 2 Siena College, No. 3 Fairfield University, No. 4 Mount St. Mary's, No. 5 Niagara University, and No. 6 Rider University. The women’s championship squads include MAAC Regular Season Champion and No. 1 seed Quinnipiac, No. 2 Fairfield, No. 3 Niagara, No. 4 Rider, No. 5 Siena, and No. 6 Marist University.
 
Quinnipiac swept both the men’s and women’s regular season trophies, becoming the second straight program to clinch both regular season tennis crowns after Fairfield achieved the feat last year. The Bobcats men’s won its first ever outright MAAC crown since joining the league and went a perfect 8-0 in league play, the most wins in a MAAC season for the program. Quinnipiac heads into the MAAC Championship having won nine matches in a row. The team has not lost a match since March 8. The Bobcats women’s team won their 10th MAAC regular season title in 2025, also completing a perfect 8-0 campaign. It was the program’s ninth perfect conference regular season since joining the MAAC in 2013-14. Quinnipiac is unbeaten dating back to March 12 and is 67-2 in regular season conference play since joining the MAAC.
 
First round men’s games taking place on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. will be No. 3 Fairfield taking on No. 6 Rider and No. 4 Mount St. Mary's facing No. 5 Niagara. Quinnipiac will meet the winner of Mount St. Mary's/Niagara, and Siena will face the winner of Fairfield/ Rider on Saturday in the semifinal round.
 
First round women’s contests on Friday start at 2:00 p.m. and will be battles between No. 3 Niagara versus No. 6 Marist and No. 4 Rider against No. 5 Siena. Quinnipiac gets the winner of Rider/ Siena, and Fairfield will take on Niagara/Marist winner in the semifinal round.
