Mateja Stefanovic rallied back to earn a win at the No. 1 singles position against Niagara's Damian Janiszewski 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 then teamed with Bruno Loch Varella to defeat the team of Ary Bhawan and Sarosh Rustomjee 6-3 as the Saints earning a conference-opening road win at Niagara 7-0 on Saturday.
Women’s Player of the Week
Willow Renton, Quinnipiac

Willow Renton posted a perfect 6-0 record against URI, St. Thomas, and Marquette this week. The sophomore dominated in singles, winning all three matches in straight sets with victories over Nikki Fernando (URI) 6-3, 6-4, Caterina Antonini (St. Thomas) 6-2, 6-1, and Elise Barnstedt (Marquette) 6-3, 6-1. Renton also contributed three doubles wins alongside partner Caitlin Flower, defeating Nikki Fernando/Kajdsa Helgesen (URI) 6-4, Alicia Andres Rodriguez/Sofia Nardone (St. Thomas) 6-0, and Elise Barnstedt/Emma Davis (Marquette) 6-2.
Women’s Rookie of the Week
Lisa Dierick, Rider
Fr., Belgium
Dierick went 1-1 at #1 singles and 2-0 at #1 Doubles for the Broncs in a 1-1 week, including a team victory at Monmouth. Against NJIT, Dierick and teammate Kashish Kant topped the number one doubles pair 6-4. Against Monmouth, Dierick and Kashish won at #1 doubles 6-1, then Dierick won in straight sets at the top singles flight, winning 6-2, 6-3.
The 2026 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships are a four-team, single-elimination championships taking place on April 25-26 at Mercer County Park Tennis Center in West Windsor, NJ. The 2026 Championships will be the 14
